BVEP

BVEP stands for Black Velvet Eastern Panama and refers to Anthuriums from eastern Panama known for their exceptionally dark, velvety leaves.

Our BVEP was purchased several years ago from a seller in the United States, who said it originated from Scott Cohen. Since we did not confirm or retain further provenance details at the time, its exact clone number is unknown.

We selected this plant for its intense black coloration, dense velvet texture, and reddish-orange venation. In our breeding work, many offspring have inherited its desirable traits, especially the dark foliage and thick velvety surface.
