Carlablackie red dot David Fell
Anthurium Carlablackie Red Dot is an exceptional plant we were fortunate to acquire from David Fell in Hawaii. It displays the classic traits of the original Carlablackie in its petioles, venation, and inflorescences, but with distinctive red dots that become more intense as each leaf matures.
From our long-term observations, a healthy, well-established plant retains the red coloration best in cool, humid conditions. During cooler seasons in our nursery, it can display red dots across up to five leaves at once, with older leaves developing the deepest color.
This distinctive trait has also appeared in its offspring, even when crossed with several different parent plants.
