Magnificum Ecuador

Anthurium magnificum is a classic velvet-leaf species native to Colombia, admired for its impressive mature size, broad heart-shaped foliage, dark green velvet surface, and prominent pale silver veins. One of its clearest identifying features is the distinctive quadrangular, winged petiole, which helps distinguish true magnificum from several related velvet Anthuriums.

Our parent plant is an original species specimen acquired from Ecuador. With its large mature foliage, sturdy leaf structure, and balanced form, it is also a valuable foundation plant in our breeding program, contributing size, substance, and strong structure to many beautiful hybrids.
