Mr Worldwide

Anthurium Mr Worldwide is the name given to a seed-grown batch of Portillae Indo × Portillae NSE, created by US-based hybridizer Teo Le in 2022. This fascinating cross combines a parent plant from Asia with another from the United States.

Because Mr Worldwide is the name of an entire seedling batch rather than a single cloned individual, plants carrying this name can vary considerably in appearance. They share the same parentage but are not expected to look completely identical.

We were fortunate to acquire a particularly distinctive Anthurium Mr Worldwide selection with an exceptional negative sinus.
Since then, we have used this parent plant in several Anthurium hybrid crosses, many of which have produced very promising results.
