Orange spider

Anthurium Orange Spider is a unique selection from the cross Papi × One From Seed. While the other plants in the batch developed more conventional characteristics, this individual matured with a completely different expression, possibly caused by a mutation.

We sold the plant to Quy Duong Garden in Vietnam when it was still quite young. Under his care, it developed into an impressive mature specimen with a very dark leaf surface, orange veins that remain visible even across several older leaves, and a consistently closed sinus. Inspired by these distinctive characteristics, Quy Duong Garden named it Orange Spider, and we have continued using this name ever since.
