Red spider

Anthurium Red Spider is a distinctive Indonesian hybrid known for its prominent raised red veins, spreading across the leaf like the legs of a spider. The original cross, Anthurium papillilaminum × Red Magnificum, was created by Indonesian hybridizer Eddy Pranoto. From this batch, one unusual seedling was selected and named Red Spider. Its characteristic red venation becomes even more pronounced as the leaves mature.

Our Red Spider parent plant has been in our collection for many years. It was acquired from Kartel Daun and has long been regarded as an original Red Spider, making it an important parent plant within our breeding collection.
