Anthurium LT Nebuluna – A New Bloodline Born at Le Toro Jardin

During our years of collecting and breeding Anthurium crystallinum hybrids, we were always searching for the perfect Red Crystall type, one with deep purple veins, intense silver veining, a truly dark velvet base, and a strong, round leaf form.

It was not easy to find.

Some plants displayed beautiful purple venation, but their silver veins were too soft or faded with maturity. Others showed striking silver contrast, yet the leaves turned green too quickly or lacked the deep, black-velvet foundation essential for a true high-contrast velvet Anthurium. A few possessed both darkness and purple tones, but lacked vigor, stability, or the ability to produce large, well-proportioned mature leaves.

Then, unexpectedly, a new genetic expression emerged from within our own breeding program at Le Toro Jardin. A plant with exceptional balance.

Anthurium LT Nebuluna – Perfect purple Red crystall hybrid by Le Toro Jardin

Anthurium LT Nebuluna presents a deeply dark velvet leaf surface, layered with rich purple undertones and defined silver primary and secondary venation. Its form is notably round and full, with strong structure and excellent leaf substance. Most importantly, it demonstrates outstanding upsizing potential, already reaching 50 cm in mature leaf size, with continued strength and stability as it develops.

Unlike many dark crystallinum hybrids, Nebuluna maintains its darkness and contrast as it matures, making it a highly promising breeding parent and a significant addition to our Anthurium genetics collection. We chose the name Nebuluna to reflect its presence.

A beauty that feels deep and quiet, yet luminous.
Like a silver symphony in the night, or a small universe suspended within a single velvet leaf.

Anthurium LT Nebuluna represents not only a rare Anthurium, but the beginning of a new bloodline, one that carries the potential for future generations of dark, round, high-contrast crystallinum hybrids.
