What makes this Red Crystall Anthurium stand out from many other Red Crystall lines is its extraordinary mature size. The largest leaf we have grown has reached nearly 80 cm, making it a true giant among Anthuriums. In addition to its impressive size, the foliage develops an intense deep red coloration as it matures. Because of the large leaf size and the way the leaf margins naturally curve inward, the overall shape often appears more narrow and elegant.
One of the most interesting characteristics of this mother plant is that young seedlings and cuttings usually show only limited red coloration. However, as the plant matures, the leaves gradually develop a much richer, darker red that remains stable for a long time.
Its hybrids tend to inherit the same growth pattern. Most offspring grow into large mature plants, and their best colors, venation, and leaf form typically become apparent only after reaching 40 cm or larger. For this reason, patience is often rewarded with dramatic improvements in both color and overall appearance.
